The Confidence Begins with a Story Project  is a monthly initiative created by author and educator Katrina Denise to place powerful, affirming children’s books into classrooms that nurture literacy, confidence, belonging, and student voice.

Each month, classrooms will receive books aligned to a theme such as New Beginnings, Friendship & Belonging, and Courage & Voice.

$25— Story Starter

Provides a teacher copy

$75— Small Group Builder

Provides 5 student copies

 

$150 — Classroom Partner
Provides a full class set of books for one classroom.

 

$500 — School Partner
Sponsors three classrooms across a grade level or school.

 

$1,000 — Community Partner
Sponsors 6–7 classrooms and receives featured recognition.
